Jim Clemes – Founder
A passionate architect, Jim Clemes founded his studio in 1984 with the conviction that architecture should be both rooted in its context and forward-looking. Trained in Miami and Paris, he brought an international vision back to Luxembourg, which he has enriched over the years with a sensitive and humanistic approach to his profession.

Under his leadership, the studio has grown into a well-known architectural firm in the country, bringing together multidisciplinary talents and delivering projects that have left a mark on the Luxembourg landscape: the Belval-Université train station, the water tower at Cloche d’Or, the LaLux headquarters in Leudelange, and the renovation of the National Museum of Resistance, to name a few.

For nearly forty years, Jim instilled in his teams a culture of discipline, creativity, and respect for both users and the built environment. His role has always gone beyond that of a designer: he has been a guide, a catalyst, and a bearer of values.

In 2024, he entrusted the future of the firm to a new generation of partners, thus ensuring the continuity of the spirit that has always driven him. As founder and inspiring figure, he remains the origin point of the story and identity of Jim Clemes Associates.
